German Foreign Minister has canceled his remaining meetings in Pakistan, according to the official tweet of Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
AM @ABaerbock hatte heute nach dem Mittagessen einen positiven Schnelltest, nachdem sie einen Geschmacksverlust festgestellt hat. AM Baerbock hat sich konsequent getestet. Noch morgens fiel ein Schnelltest negativ aus. Alle weiteren Termine der Reise werden abgesagt.

It is pertinent to mention here that after Angelina Beerbook Pakistan, she was also going to Turkey and Greece. Beerbook had met Bilawal today. The two leaders also addressed a joint press conference.

While sharing his thoughts and expert opinion about the recent visit of Germany Foreign Minister to Pakistan with Diplomatic Star Journalist, Country Director, Hanns Seidel Foundation Dr Steffen Kudella said ” I was hoping that the visit of Foreign Minister Baerbock will raise awareness for climate change and food security as non-traditional security challenges for Pakistan and South Asia.”

Replying to a question, Dr Steffen Kudella Pakistan’s role for peace and stability in Afghanistan is quite significant, in other words, Pakistan had shown ‘a big heart’ to provide shelter and support to Afghan refugees.
Moreover, the situation of the Afghan people, including millions of Afghan refugees living in Pakistan, deserves our support, he remarked.
To another qurey, he said Germany remained committed to continuing its support to the Afghan refugees in Pakistan with the help of national and international partners to play their part in supporting efforts for education and health sectors.
About ties with Pakistan, Dr Steffen said that both countries had been the closest and reliable partner and there is need to give boost for further strengthening the bilateral relations.
The German foreign minister said Germany and Pakistan had prioritize their efforts to combat climate crises as the time for the world community was running out, requiring immediate global action.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister also shared his sentiments on his official twitter account about the news in which he learned that Germany Foreign Minister Außenministerin Annalena Baerbock tested positive for COVID-19. He wish her quick recovery and good health and hoped to continued work to solidify Pakistan-Germany relations.
