Pechan Meri Pakistan playing vital role for socio-economic uplifts through its several public welfare projects

LAHORE, Sept 01 (Diplomatic Star): Pechan Meri Pakistan Developmental Foundation a None Governmental Organization (NGO) was playing a significant role in socio-economic up lift of the society and public development through its various people friendly initiative, including women empowerment, child protection, welfare of transgender, promoting culture of women entrepreneur, besides safeguarding the projects of child mother health.

Recently, under the umbrella of Pechan Meri Pakistan in collaboration with some other social welfare organization has extended its reaching out to help those flood hit areas, where people were desperately looking for shelter, food and health care facilities.

The NGO so far has dispatched millions of rupees flood aid to the people of flood hit areas through its social networking and collaborator partners and still was playing due role to generate huge funds for deserving community.

Earlier, The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Pechan Meri Pakistan, Shahida Naveed in an exclusive interview, informed that they have arranged a team of medical experts, health practitioners and other under the supervision of Prof. Dr Naveed Iqbal to visit flood hit areas and they will rendered their services to protect the people from water borne diseases.

She said that we are also arranging free medicine for flood victims and initially we have trying to cure and rescues by providing first aid and with some protective medicines.

Shahida Naveed said that in collaboration we have launched many development project for promoting women empowerment culture in the country, besides providing sufficient number of skill trainings that would help them in their businesses.

Sharing details of the Pechan Meri Pakistan, She said that recently National Incubation Center (NIC) Islamabad, Pechan Meri Pakistan and Google have jointly organized an event titled Women Tach maker 2022 to promote and established a women entrepreneurship culture in the country, besides a step towards equipping them  information technology.

The initiative aimed at to encourage, support and assisting the women belonging from far flung areas of the country through proper training center like NIC that would guide them about their passion, coach, speak, and consult them how to build strong communities through great leadership skills.
She said that the Pechan Meri Pakistan is providing support and conducive environment to start-ups through trainings, investor linkages and mentorship programs for the country’s socio-economic development.
Shahida Naveed said that off and on we have planned a series of medical camps to providing health care facilitates at such location where health acre are rare Phenomenon.

 

She said that earlier, or once in every month, a free medial camp was organized by Pechan Meri Pakistan at Fountain House, Child Protection Bureau, Pakistan Sweet Homes, Old Homes, Social and Public places, School, Colleges, Community Centers and any other place of public interaction.

Replying to a question, in health care services, our organization, She said conducted several camps keeping in view the needs of the public, including Eye Camp, Liver and Urology, Gynaecology camps and for social and psychological services being provided to the people.

In this free medical camp, a team of specialists and well qualified senior doctors including Prof. Dr. Naveed Iqbal, Dr. Misha Khan and Dr. Halima Khan have provided consultation on Urology, Gynaecology and Psychological counselling and conducted free medical examination of the patients.

In addition to these examinations, the team of these doctors also prepared a report on the health condition of the low income groups of the city and distributed free medicines among them.

                             

Chief Executive Officer of Pechan Meri Pakistan and the well-known social worker Shahida Naveed said that the initiative aimed at to provide free health care facilities to the needy people, besides creating awareness about the chronic disease.

                                             

She said that hundred of children and families benefited from this camp during which over 93 per cent people were found suffering with hypertension, blood pressure and mental health issues.

                       

Replying to a question, Shahida Naveed said that under the platform of Pechan Meri Pakistan we are working to address the health care issues of the society and rendering services in far flung areas of the country where health care facilities is a rare Phenomenon.

Such free medical camps, she said that are playing a crucial role to identify the diseases like hypertension, blood pressure, diabetes, depression, mental health issues and other diseases which normally people are not taking them serious.

                   

Air Vice Marshal Sajid Habib and Dr. Imran Murtaza grace the event as chief guest and distributed the certificates of honor among the doctors.

On the occasion, Dr Imran shared his sentiment and said that said that we as Pakistanis should actively participate in such social activities because the patients get a lot of encouragement in it.

                 

He expressed hope that Pechan Meri Pakistan will continue to organize more such camps.

Among others, the event was also attended by the CEO Knowledge Hub, Ayesha Mahmood Butt, CEO LKF foundation Lailma Khan, Shadab Alam, Ramazan Abir and Rizwan Ahmed.

The camp was also visited by the members of Rotary Club Lahore and appreciated Shahida Naveed role for free health care facilities.
