ISLAMABAD, Aug 31 (Diplomatic Star): Commenting on flood situation in Pakistan, British Member Parliament Claudia Webb says that Pakistan is forced to pay the price of our greed.
In a statement, British Member of Parliament Claudia Webb posted on her social media account said that Pakistan is responsible for only one percent of global greenhouse emissions, but Pakistan is among the top 10 countries in climate change.
• Pakistan accounts for 1% of global emissions.
• The global elite, the richest 1%, account for double the emissions of 50% of the world.
It’s time the world’s rich paid for the climate crisis that they cause in countries like Pakistan.
