LAHORE, Aug 03 (Diplomatic Star ): A well known, famous urologist Prof. Dr. Naveed Iqbal Wednesday Transferred from Fatima Medical University to Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore.
On arrival, Today, at Allama Medical College, Dr Naveed Iqbal has been given a warm welcome by the senior doctors, hospital staff and other health care officials here.
It is pertinent, to mentioned here that Dr. Naveed Iqbal was promoted to professor when he was rendering his health care services at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital two years ago.
Hospital staffs and other officials presented him and his family a wreath with garlands and congratulating Dr Naveed Iqbal, besides they hoped that now the department of urology will develop and have improved services after his joining.
Prof. Doctor Naveed Iqbal has been given briefing by the Assistant professor Dr. Shabir Chaudhary and Dr. Ijaz Siddiqui about current facilities being offer in the hospital, its wards capacity etc.
Dr Naveed has been accompanied by a famous social activist and Chief Executive Officer of Pechaan Meri Pakistan (NGO) Shahida Naveed Sahiba.
On the occasion, Dr Naveed Iqbal thanked the hospital staff over their warm welcome and praised their efforts for rendering best possible health facilities offered by Allama Iqbal Medical College.
Dr Naveed Iqbal said that together we stronger and it would help to deliver better and improved health services here.
He said that several initiative would be taken in coming few days, including a transplant facility would be offered.
