ISLAMABAD, Nov 29 (Diplomatic Star): Romanian Ambassador to Pakistan Nicolae Goia has said that the EU, Romanian and Pakistan have enjoyed excellent friendship and cooperation in many fields, including trade, investment, and technology.
He made these remarks while addressing a reception to celebrate the Romanian National Day in Islamabad.
The event was attended by Ambassadors, Charges d’Affairés, and representatives of international organizations. Ambassadors of various country shared the stage with the chief guest and host to celebrate the event in a befitting manner.
Special attendance in the event by Tariq Fatemi, Prime Minister Adviser, Federal Minister Shazain Bugti, Romanian Consul Generals in Karachi Tariq Saud and Lahore Faiq Jawed and others cutting cake to celebrate the National Day of Romania.
Ambassador said that in terms of economic and trade, notably, the trade volume between Pakistan and Romanian increased significantly. We have a potential in various areas and need to explore it more for future perspectives. However, it is still very low compared to both sides’ huge potential.
This year both countries are celebrating years of diplomatic relations. Pakistan and Romanian are committed to further deepening and enhancing mutually beneficial partnerships in all areas of cooperation. There is a deep reservoir of goodwill for Romanian in Pakistan.

Romanian and Pakistan are committed to supporting businesses in both countries to enhance the bilateral trade of agricultural products.
