GREECE, June 06, Diplomatic Star(DS): Palestinian Ambassador to Greece Marwan Toubassi has welcomed the role being played by the Muslims states particularly Pakistan, Turkey and other friend countries like Greece over the recent Israeli aggression on innocent people of Palestinian.
While talking to Diplomatic Star’s correspondent, the envoy, Marwan Toubassi lauded Pakistan’s leadership over its loud and clear stance on Palestinian and has raised voice in favour of Palestine, besides exposing the real face of Israeli to the world.
Palestine and Pakistan have long enjoyed brotherly relationship, deep rooted in their common faith, share history and mutual cooperation in times of crisis, Ambassador to Greece Marwan Toubassi said.
Appreciating the role of Greece, the envoy said “I am also very grateful to the Greek government and to the Greek people for their full support against Israeli atrocities and their condemnation of Israeli atrocities.”
Palestine belongs only to the Palestinians, the envoy said that Israel has occupied it illegally, especially in the last days of Ramadan the desecration of the first Qiblah has deeply saddened our hearts.
He said “We have nothing, no weapons, no army and no power as strong as Israel, but still we will fight to the last breath for the freedom of our country.”
Marwan Toubassi urged upon all the Muslim countries and world powers including the United Nations and the OIC, to play their due role to resolve the dispute, besides putting pressure on Israel in stopping the genocide of the Palestinians.
The envoy said: “We are going through a very difficult time. We all need your cooperation.”
