ISLAMABAD, June 29, Diplomatic Star (DS): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari, while commenting on the PTI government, said, “If there is no government, it will be removed.”
He said this while talking to reporters on his arrival at the Parliament House to attend the National Assembly session.
Replying to a question on the situation in Afghanistan, Asif Ali Zardari said that the situation in Afghanistan was dangerous and its effects could be felt in Pakistan.
“We have to think about it and keep an eye on it, they will see what is involved,” he said.
Asked about taking parliament into confidence in meetings with Israeli officials, he said parliament must be taken into confidence on every issue.
It may be recalled that in January, former President Asif Ali Zardari had stated that the next few months are very important for the future of the country’s politics.
He had said that it was time for the PTI government to go home as its incompetence and inexperience could lead the country to a major crisis.
The former president had said that “these elected rulers will fall under their own weight, they just need one last push”.
